The Peoria Park District’s Franciscan Recreation Complex offers sports programs for ages 3-9 beginning in February.

Kids ages 3-4 can register for All Star Sports. These classes will provide an introduction to athletics by covering a new sport each week, including basketball, baseball, football, soccer, and floor hockey. Choose from either session: Wednesday afternoons, starting Feb. 23 or Saturday mornings, starting Feb. 26.

The Floor Hockey class for kids ages 5-6 will teach the fundaments of shooting, stick handling, passing, defense and goaltending. Class meets on Wednesday afternoons, starting Feb. 23.

Soccer classes include the fundamentals of passing, dribbling and shooting. Little Pints Soccer is for ages 3-4 and three sessions are offered: Monday afternoons, starting Feb. 21; Saturday mornings, starting Feb. 26; and Tuesday evenings, starting March 1. Pee Wees Soccer is offered for ages 5-6 and two sessions meet either on Monday afternoons, starting Feb. 21 or on Saturday mornings, starting Feb. 26.
