ACE Entertainment & Event Management has teamed up with the Peoria Women’s Club to present a day of fun, learning and networking Saturday April 16th from 10:00 am to 4:00 p.m.. Held in the historic clubhouse of the Peoria Women’s Club (PWC) at 301 Northeast Madison Avenue, downtown Peoria, Illinois, this event features over 30 vendors representing a wide variety of companies and organizations.
Jimena Lopez Rehmer, a representative of the PWC, says “It is our hope that through community-minded initiatives such as the Spring Vendor Bazaar that we can raise community awareness of both the Peoria Women’s Club and the Clubhouse in an effort to ultimately recruit new Club members while at the same time increasing rentals of the Clubhouse, resulting in much needed revenue for this outstanding organization”.
Admission to the event is free and open to the public. Donations are welcome.
In addition to the many vendors promoting their products and services are a number of fun, relaxing, and tasty activities. Bill More, Your Secret Chef will be teaching a half hour cooking class from 11:00-11:30 and will be giving away free samples of the students work. Learn basic yoga to improve posture & breathing by gently stretching, twisting and balancing with Lisa Nelson Raabe,LCPC, RYT 500. No special clothing or experience necessary. Massage therapist Cheryl Koenig will be offering mini massage sessions. Dr. Sara Lawson owner of Advantage Chiropractic and Dr. Matt Howard of Howard Chiropractic and Wellness will be providing free Myovision back scans which assist in determining areas of the nervous system that are being adversely affected by areas of spinal misalignment. There will also be an opportunity to get a free makeover by Natalie Wolfley with Mary Kay and then receive a free professional 4×6 photo print by Dessan Design. In addition, Bryon Griffin of Maui Wowi Hawaiian will be providing free smoothie and coffee samples.

For over 125 years the Peoria Women’s Club has been a meeting place for women interested in cultural enrichment, current events, and fellowship. The Club continues to promote education, literature, science and art by bringing speakers and programs to the clubhouse every week during the season.
