Members of organized labor are showing their solidarity by holding a mass demonstration on Saturday, June 25, at 9:30 a.m. at Sheridan Village on the corner of Lake and Sheridan.

The demonstration is to support the employment of local workers and area standards. Emmes Realty, the manager of Sheridan Village, has chosen to employ, Holland Roofing, an out-of-state sub-standard contractor (according to local organized labor people) out of Indianapolis, Indiana on their roofing project.
