Gordon Recognizes Price Waterhouse Coopers, LLC for their Community Service
Rep. Jehan Gordon (D-Peoria) on Friday visited the Peoria office of Price Waterhouse Coopers, LLC, the winner of her August “Good Neighbor” Business of the Month Award. This business was nominated for their work at the Central Illinois Agency on Aging.
“Price Waterhouse Coopers teamed up with the Children’s Home and Dream Center to fund and provide supervision of a group to youth to help paint interior hallways at the Central Illinois Agency on Aging,” explained nominator Mitch Forrest. “We could not have done this work ourselves and getting a contractor would have been very expensive. Everyday when we walk through our building we appreciate the work they have done.”
Price Waterhouse Coopers, LLC is a worldwide professional services company that encourages branches and employees to give back to the communities that they are in. In addition to a yearly service project, the Peoria branch’s employees also donate 10 hours of company time to community service each year.
“This company exemplifies what it means to give back to the community. Through organization-wide service projects and the donation of time from each employee, Price Waterhouse Coopers truly is a good neighbor,” Gordon said. “I am pleased to recognize their contributions to the community and would like to thank the Central Illinois Agency on Aging for nominating them.”
