Nine more Red Cross Volunteers Head for East Coast

In preparation for Hurricane Irene, more volunteers from Central Illinois are heading to the east coast. Due to the large population that could be affected by this storm, the Red Cross is preparing for multiply large-scale operations.

· Jane Nohl of Morton (Peoria area) is going to Connecticut to work as a Government Liaison. Her flight is tomorrow at 7:15am on Delta out of Bloomington.
· Derrick McKinney of Peoria (Peoria area) is going to Connecticut to work as a Government Liaison. His flight is tomorrow at 6:45am out of Peoria.
· Ashley Bauer of Chillicothe (Peoria area) is going to New Jersey to work in Feeding. Her flight is tomorrow at 6:45am on Delta out of Peoria.
· Silvia Albaugh of Dunlap (Peoria area) is going to Massachusetts to work in Logistics/Transportation. No flight info yet.
· Don Crouch of Peoria (Peoria area) is going to New Jersey to work in Feeding. No flight info yet.
· Lou Fuentes of Tolono (Champaign area) is going to Massachusetts to work as a Bulk Distribution supervisor. No flight info yet.
· Mary Magruder of Champaign (Champaign area) is going to New Jersey to work in Feeding. No flight info yet.
· Jan Stuckey of Robinson (Champaign area) is going to New Jersey to work in Feeding. No flight info yet.
· Corinne Botterbusch of Robinson (Champaign area) is going to New Jersey to work in Feeding. No flight info yet.

· Milo Streitmatter of Toulon – Milo is in Newark, NJ working as a Procurement Manager.
· Jerry Olden of Tolono – Jerry is heading to Manchester, NH to work as a Shelter Supervisor
· Jerry & Martha Scheirer of Metamora – Jerry and Martha are in Raleigh, NC with the chapter’s Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV).
