Simantel Principal and co-owner Susie Ketterer has been named Vice President of the North American arm of the Advertising and Marketing International Network (AMIN). AMIN brings together the expertise, creativity and strength of leading independently owned agencies. Members collaborate in a confidential, non-competitive manner.
Peoria-based Simantel has been a member since 2005, and the firm’s continued close involvement adds great value for clients. The network provides Simantel with unparalleled access to resources, a deep understanding of the latest technology and industry trends, and special knowledge about emerging business and products.
“Our membership really expands our reach and our resources—both across the U.S. and globally,” Ketterer said. “Some of our clients have overseas operations, and through AMIN, we can collaborate with agencies on the ground in those countries. For example, earlier this year we helped a client launch a new product in Europe and Africa. The Simantel team worked with a Switzerland-based agency to develop a successful strategy, concept and messaging platform.”
In her role as Vice President, Ketterer will help guide AMIN policies and work to enhance capabilities and collaborative opportunities for member agencies across North America. She also serves on AMIN’s global committee and is a governor for worldwide collaboration.
“I’m delighted to take on this new role and excited about the opportunities it will bring—both for Simantel and the businesses and organizations we serve,” Ketterer said. “As an independent firm and AMIN member, we can do more with less. We offer the personal partnerships that clients value, but with access to a world of resources.”
