Step back in time at Flanagan House to the days when home funerals were the norm and strict mourning etiquette was rigorously observed. We’ll be draped in black crape displaying collections ranging from stunning examples of mourning jewelry to the more curious and macabre – post-mortem photography and home embalming. The open-house format will feature costumed re-enactors, everyone from grave-diggers to mourners.

Wearing black is certain to be appropriate on Saturday, October 15, or Sunday, October 16, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
