Bradley senior Kathleen Clemens will receive the Lincoln Academy Student Laureate Award for excellence in curricular and extracurricular activities during the Lincoln Academy of Illinois’ annual Student Laureate Convocation on Saturday, November 5, at the Old State Capitol State Historic Site in Springfield.
Clemens, a native of Tinley Park, will receive a Student Laureate Medallion, along with an honorarium check and certificate of achievement. This marks the 37th year students have been honored by the academy.
Clemens has been active on campus as a Residence Advisor on Bradley’s residence hall staff, as a member of LINCS, a senior leadership group, and served as Director of Pan-Hellenic Recruitment. She attended Victor J. Andrew High School.
The Lincoln Academy, unique among the 50 states, was established 46 years ago to honor Illinois’ most distinguished citizens with the state’s highest award, the Order of Lincoln.
