The Salvation Army is hosting its annual Older Adults Christmas Party at noon, today at the Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Peoria.

The party, open to senior citizens in the tri-county area, is expected to bring holiday cheer to over 300 older adults this year. Lunch, holiday entertainment, and a special gift are all provided at no charge. The program is funded through donations made to The Salvation Army. “We are very pleased that we can provide this wonderful meal and party for our senior friends,” said Major Mary Duskin of The Salvation Army.
