YPGP Hosts Event to support local Boys & Girls Clubs

Members of the Young Professionals Organization of Greater Peoria (YPGP) are putting their community spirit where their mouth is and they want you to stuff it for charity. Join YPGP on Thursday, July 19 from 5 to 7 p.m. for the second annual “Pie in the Sky” eating contest at Kelleher’s Irish Pub & Eatery to support The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Peoria.

YPGP is looking for people who have an appetite for helping children to participate in a Shepherd’s Pie eating contest. Entry fee is $10 and whoever stuffs it the fastest will win a prize. Plus “Pie in the Sky” winners will have their name engraved on a plaque that will hang on the wall at Kelleher’s recognizing them for their Shepherd‘s Pie stuffing ability and their support of The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Peoria. “Pie in the Sky” is for a great cause; the money collected goes to The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Peoria
