Peoria, IL – Midstate College is proud to announce the hiring of Johnnie Harrison as an Admissions Representative. As a recent graduate from Midstate College with a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree, Johnnie has the ability to relate first-hand with individuals seeking to pursue post-secondary education at Midstate.

Johnnie’s work history includes tenure at Tazewell-Woodford Head Start for 8 years as a Teaching Assistant and more recently in the position of Family Service Specialist. Johnnie is currently the President of the Board of Directors for Tazwood Community Services and was previously the Treasurer.

In his words, Johnnie chose Midstate as an employer because his “own experience here as a student was a very positive one. I felt as though I was not just a number at Midstate and was treated with respect as an individual. I look forward to that day when a student I helped enroll walks through the graduation line and is handed a diploma.”
