Peoria – The Illinois Department of Veterans’ Affairs and Central Management Services are co-hosting “Mission: Veterans 2 Entrepreneurs” on Friday, September 28, at the American Legion Post 979 in Bartonville.

This event, to be held from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., will provide veterans with up-to-date information, resources, and assistance in becoming successful business owners in partnership with multiple local, state, and federal agencies, as well as not-for-profit organizations. Veterans seeking to start their own business, learn about procurement opportunities with government agencies, and find out about becoming certified as a veteran-owned business are encouraged to attend.
