“Seasoned Stars on Stage” A 50+ Reader’s Theater Company will perform a live radio broadcast entitled “Seasoned Stars Holiday Cavalcade” featuring Santa Flunks Retirement by Drena Heizer at 2:00 on Sunday, December 16th at Courtyard Estates (formerly Jumer’s Black Bear Lounge) 117 N. “Seasoned Stars on Stage”, a 50+ Reader’s Theater, is a celebration of new performing artists. Our mission is to bring the spoken word to a vibrant, energetic and experienced cast and audience who have rich voices spanning decades. The 15 company members, retired professionals, ranging in age to 90 years old, have been rehearsing and performing locally for a year and a half. There repertoire includes humorous one-acts, choral narrations and original writing. The company’s goal is to rejuvenate the mind, body and spirit via the magic of the theater.
