5th Annual All Star Holiday Concert to benefit the Pediatric Resource Center

PEORIA – (November 15, 2012) Enjoy the sounds of the holidays while helping a child in need.

Local musicians are donating their talents for the 5th Annual All Star Holiday Concert to benefit the Pediatric Resource Center in Central Illinois.

What: The 2012 Holiday Concert will feature The Robin Crowe Band, The Heritage Ensemble, South Side Cindy and the Sliptones, The Bradley Chamber Singers, Rosemary Ardner, The Shanties, and Mr. Heath.

When: 3 to 4:30 p.m. Sunday, November 25th

Where: Bradley University, Dingledine Center, 1501 W. Bradley Ave.

Tickets: Tickets are $12.50 for adults (kids 12 years-old and under are free) and can be purchased at the door. Advance tickets can be purchased at Sutton Carpets, 123 W. McClure Ave., or by calling Amanda Erwin at PRC (309) 624-9595.

The Pediatric Resource Center (PRC) provides direct services to suspected child victims of physical abuse, sexual abuse and neglect.

The annual event was created by musician Dan Sutton in 2008.

The PRC is a community service program of the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria and is and affiliated with Children’s Hospital of Illinois at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center. Established in 1993, each year the PRC provides medical exams, consultations, and advocacy to over 600 children from 50 counties in central Illinois who are suspected victims of child physical abuse, sexual abuse or neglect.
