The Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the 13th annual State of the City Address TOMORROW – Tuesday, January 29th – at 11:45AM at the Peoria Civic Center Ballroom. Nearly 700 people have reserved a seat to hear Peoria Mayor Jim Ardis recap 2012 and share his visions for Peoria in 2013 and beyond. The Mayor will touch on several topics including education, competition with our peer cities, sustainability and the importance of regionalism. He’ll also share his vision for economic development in Peoria as well as updates on programs like Don’t Shoot Peoria, the Warehouse District and Peoria Promise. The 2013 State of the City address is sponsored by Dewberry and RLI and is hosted annually by the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce.
