Stenograph to join state-wide effort to recognize professionals, career opportunities in stenographic court reporting and captioning

Peoria, IL — Governor Pat Quinn has proclaimed that he will observe February 17-23 as National Court Reporting and Captioning Week. Students, staff and faculty at Midstate College and the National Court Reporters Association, the country’s leading organization representing stenographic court reporters and broadcast captioners will be among those celebrating the awareness week. Court Reporting and Captioning Week pulls together a nationwide effort to highlight the contributions of stenographic court reporters and captioners to society. It also showcases the career opportunities that exist in the court reporting and captioning fields.
