Across central Illinois, water levels are rising causing families to evacuate their homes. The Red Cross has set up a response effort to meet the needs of those affected by flood waters in our community. Shelters across the state are providing families with a safe place to stay and warm meal to eat. The response has now reached a level that we are requesting the assistance of our friends and neighbors.
