The Peoria Zoo is giving away free t-shirts from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (or while supplies last) on Saturday, August 17, when you pay regular admission and bring in 3 non-perishable items (per t-shirt). The food items will be donated to the Heart of Illinois Harvest. Each family will be allowed 2 free t-shirts with their donation. Regular admission charges are – Adults 13+: $9.00; Children 3-12: $5.25; Senior Citizens: $8.00. Consider a Family Membership and you’ll receive unlimited FREE admission to the Peoria Zoo for one full year, plus other great benefits!
