Grand National Motorcycle Parade

The Peoria Police Department and the Peoria County Sheriff’s Office ask for the public’s patience during the Grand National Motorcycle Parade held on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. The parade will begin at the T. T. Race Track on Cameron Lane. The parade will be escorted by motor officers from numerous law enforcement agencies. Several intersections in the county and most intersections in the city will be manned by officers and deputies. Due to the large number of participants, expects delays crossing the streets along the parade route. Officers and deputies will assist the public along the route.

The parade route is as follows:

• The parade will leave the T.T. Track turning onto Cameron Lane
• Cameron Lane to Route 116
• Route 116 to Maxwell Road (North)
• Maxwell Road to Farmington Road
• Farmington Road to Main Street
• Main Street to Adams Street
• Adams Street to Hamilton
• Parade route ends at Hamilton and Washington Street in Downtown Peoria

With the increased number of motorcycles in the area this weekend, we ask everybody to increase their awareness while travelling on the roadways.
