Ft. Crevecoeur Park to Sponsor “The Gathering at Ft. Crevecoeur” Sept. 21st and 22nd from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Admission is $1 per person. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult.

Visit the fort area where encampments & blanket traders are set up. Kids can make items using an old fashioned rope making machine. There will be a demo on the Native American art of chiseling arrowheads, knives, etc. There will be candy cannons shot off at various intervals for the kids. There will be a black powder shoot open to the public from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. on both days.

The park side will have an open air flea market both days. There will be bluegrass/country gospel music both days. A Native American group will share their history and songs on Saturday.
