(Peoria, IL)­­— Beginning Friday, September 20th, Adams Street will be reduced to one lane at the intersection of Persimmon Street, both day and night, through the end of September. Crews will be constructing new curb and sidewalk on the southeast corner of this intersection. The lane reduction is needed to provide a wider turning radius for trucks so they won’t need to track over the new curb and sidewalk to make the turn.
