The Peoria Police Department, Criminal Investigations Division, has made an arrest in a murder investigation. Eugene L. Haywood, date of birth 03-23-94, was arrested and sent to the Peoria County Jail in relation to the homicide of Eric Brown. Brown was shot and killed in the 1800 blk of W. Kettelle, on June 24th, 2013. Investigation is still open and ongoing………….
