Peoria, IL- A joint effort between The Murray and Rena Yeomans Fund of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois and Peoria Public Schools Foundation awarded 22 District 150 teachers $20,000 in grants.
District 150 Classroom Grants are available to any Peoria Public Schools District 150 teacher interested in additional projects to enrich the classroom experience for the students. It is a competitive grant process that aligns with District 150 strategic goals and the school improvement plan. Awards are made in amounts of $1000 or less. While most grants address classroom initiatives from teachers, the selection committee considers requests from other personnel such as counselors and other program staff.
