Peoria, IL (February 4, 2014) Bradley University’s first Up ‘til Dawn all-night fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital sets the University among the charity’s national leaders.

The Friday-Saturday night of fun and games brought in $42,000 exceeding the $30,000 goal. Up ‘til Dawn is the latest St. Jude fundraising effort debuted at college campuses this year. Teams compete in fun competitions throughout the night and raise money for the cause. There were 180 students on 30 six-person teams at Bradley’s Markin Center for the overnight event this weekend.

According to the St. Jude website, 96 colleges are hosting Up ‘til Dawn events this school year. The amount raised by Bradley puts the University fourth on the list of Midwestern colleges’ Up ’til Dawn events to date.
