On Friday, April 25 at 10:00 am, the Southwest Kiwanis Club is sponsoring the annual tree planting ceremony honoring Arbor Day. The City will assist in the planting that will take place at the corner of Washington and Eaton, next to the Citadel Broadcasting Building.

Traditionally, the South-West Kiwanis has presented a tree to the city for a number of years on Arbor Day.
