We have a Super Vocalist lined up for this Special week. On (Wednesday June 25th) we have City of Peoria native, Beth Heuermann, who is Fabulous! Beth’s parents live here in Peoria, while she lives in New York City. “Beth Heuermann has performed internationally in Europe and the United States. Recent performances in NYC include leading roles at Carnegie Hall, NY Arena in Times Square, and Symphony Space on Broadway.  Upcoming performances include Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall in the 2014/2015 season.”

About the Wednesday Evening Concerts – “Down By The Riverfront”

June 4, 2014 started the 4th year of the Wednesday evening Concerts held on Water Street @ State Street, in front of Kelleher’s restaurant, in Peoria’s Warehouse District. (The music plays from 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm). These are known as “old Fashion Street Concerts”.

–  Most individuals attending bring their comfortable, personal lawn chairs from home (the days of park benches are history).

 – Many in the audience choose to purchase restaurant food – and sit at tables provided by Kelleher’s Restaurant. (Note: The numbers of tables are limited).

 – Wednesday Evening Concerts in the Warehouse District are always Free.
–  Free Parking is plentiful. (Note: there is no tax on Free)!
 – 1st Washington Street portion opening is on Monday, June 23rd.
 – 1st Pride of Peoria, Beth Heuermann, singing on Wednesday evening, June 25th.


We don’t have a Red Ribbon to cut! What we do have is a Significant Success Story within “Peoria’s Down by the Riverfront Concerts” of 5+ years. Two years in planning, an Extremely Successful 3+year run. This is an unheard of success  – within a new Business District, prior to  structure  completion.
