Pekin, IL June 24, 2014 – Pekin Park District’s Soldwedel Program Center will be offering introductory magic classes for youth, ages 9 to 13, this summer. Participants will learn how to entertain their friends and family as they perform a wide variety of magic. Classes will be taught by professional magician Gregory Joyce.
Participants will perform simple magic tricks using playing cards, money, rope and other common items, as well as learn mind reading effects and how to make special magical props. All supplies and a class instruction handbook will be provided. Classes will be broken down into parts A and B.
The Magician’s Workshop Part A, will be held on Monday, July 28 and July 30, and Part B classes on August 4 and 6.
