President Barack Obama will deliver an address to the Illinois General Assembly in Springfield on Feb. 10. Obama will talk about “what we can do, together, to build a better politics — one that reflects our better selves,” a White House official said in a statement.

Obama is a former member of the state Senate from Chicago who announced his run for president in Springfield when he was in the U.S. Senate
