This Friday, July 13, James E. Shadid, Chief United States District Judge will conduct the Peoria Naturalization Ceremony and welcome 80 to 90 new citizens at Peoria Public Library Main Library, 107 N.E. Monroe, at 10:00 a.m. in the Auditorium on Lower Level Two.

The ceremony is usually conducted at the Peoria Federal Courthouse, and because of the larger space, there will be one ceremony rather than two. A reception will be held for the new citizens and their families immediately after the ceremony.
