Volunteers needed at The Salvation Army Toy Shop & Gift Wrap Booth Needs Helping Hands

More volunteers are needed to help work in The Salvation Army’s upcoming Toy Shop and Gift Wrap booth at Northwoods Mall to keep the programs staffed sufficiently.

This is a perfect opportunity for individuals, church groups, or civic groups to offer a few hours of service to help those in need in our community. “We are looking for volunteers to help us out, whether it’s a one-time thing or maybe a few times throughout the Christmas season,” said Major Charles Smith, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army. “We are very appreciative of the groups and individuals that already volunteer, but with more people utilizing our Gift Wrap and attending our Toy Shop, we really need some more help.”

The Gift Wrap booth at Northwoods Mall will be open during regular mall hours and will remain open until December 24. The Toy Shop is set for Tuesday, December 22 and Wednesday, December 23 at the Corps Community Center on Nebraska.
