On Sunday, November 18th, 2012, Maranatha Fellowship Center & Richwoods Christian Church are partnering together to host a Thanksgiving Meal for the residents near South Side Mission & Trewyn School.

The meal will be served at Trewyn Middle School from 12:30 – 3:00 p.m. Three hundred meals complete with turkey, potatoes, vegetables, and desserts will be served.

Entertainment will include activities for children and a free picture portrait for all families in attendance. All families that attend will receive a gift bag of food and toiletries.

This is the fifth annual Thanksgiving Meal hosted by Maranatha and Richwoods. This is the forth year that the event has been held at Trewyn School. The event was previously held in the Maranatha church building, but outgrew the capacity in year one.

Teams from both churches will meet at Maranatha on Saturday, November 17h at 10:00 AM to go door to door passing out flyers for the meal. Throughout the year, these churches partner together in the South Side Mission’s Adopt-A-Block Ministry. This event further establish the partnership of the congregations as they serve the 61605 community.
