Peoria, Illinois (January 2, 2013)–Methodist Medical Group at Washington will start the New Year in a large new facility with expanded healthcare services. Located at 1201 N. Cummings Lane in Washington, the Methodist Medical Group office will continue to provide family medicine, sports medicine, and full x-ray and laboratory services. In addition, the clinic is adding a full-time podiatrist, as well as physical therapy services provided by Professional Therapy Services. The $4 million, 13,000-square-foot facility situated on two acres just off the Washington bypass on Cummings Lane opens January 2, 1013.

Michael Namanny, Vice President of Methodist Medical Group, says, “The new office will better serve patients by offering greater comfort and space in a beautiful new building that also allows for future growth opportunities. In addition we’re pleased to be able to add podiatry services for the Washington area.”

Providers at the new complex include James Hensold, MD (family medicine), Nurse Practitioner Amy Davis (family medicine), and Rachel Greider, DPM (podiatry). Brandon Bockewitz, MD, and Jill Wirth, MD, will provide sports medicine services at the Washington office in addition to continuing to see patients at their current locations in Peoria.

The offices were previously housed in rented space, also on Cummings Lane. An open house for patients and Washington-area residents is planned for late spring.
