January 25, 2013, Lombard, IL – CIAN Inc. was recognized by the ESGR Committee (Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve) for their dedicated support in granting leave to their Guard and Reserve employees for military duty. The Above and Beyond Award is presented annually and is given to a limited numbers of employers which demonstrate exemplary action that exceeds legal requirements of the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act, or USERRA.

As a service disabled Navy veteran, Steve Hope, says, “Supporting the military is not only important to me and my company, but it is also CIAN’s philanthropic mission.” Over half of the employees at CIAN are former or current military, Guard, or Reserve members. Along with CIAN, twenty-four recipients were awarded this great honor including JP Morgan Chase, AT&T, and Walgreens.
