(Peoria, IL) A one-day closure on Oak Street is planned for Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Conduits for lighting and irrigation will be installed across Oak Street at the Adams Street intersection. In order to complete this work, a short section of Oak Street will be closed at the east side (river side) of the Adams Street intersection. Oak Street will be open and accessible from Washington Street and from the alley off of State Street.
The barricades that are currently across Oak Street will be moved uphill closer to Adams Street for this one day. Oak Street access for staff, customers and deliveries will be from Washington Street or from the alley accessed from State Street. At 3:30 pm on August 15th, the barricades will be returned to the position they are at today, at which time you can resume the current access to your business.
