PEORIA, Ill. – State Rep. Jehan Gordon-Booth, D-Peoria, will host her Third Annual Veterans Appreciation Breakfast on Saturday, Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall, located at 1505 E. Lake Ave. in Peoria Heights.

“As we go along in our daily lives it is easy to take for granted the amazing sacrifices that service men and women and their families have made for us,” Gordon-Booth said. “Our veterans deserve our thanks every day. I encourage veterans and their families to join as our community comes together to offer our appreciation.”

Veterans and their family members are invited to the Veterans of Foreign Wars Hall for a free pancake breakfast that will include pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. Gordon-Booth will be joined by local Peoria dignitaries to help serve veterans and current military members.
