Cutting-edge brain research planned at new Center for Collaborative Brain Research

Bradley University will announce it has established the Center for Collaborative Brain Research at a reception from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, in the performance court in the Markin Recreation Center located on Maplewood Avenue on campus. Media are invited to cover the program which will begin at 5:00 p.m. Four interactive demonstrations of brain function and activity will be on display.

The Center is being established to promote and support research between the Department of Radiology at Saint Francis Medical Center, the Illinois Neurological Institute, and Bradley faculty. The Department of Radiology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria will be a research collaborator.

It is recommended that those attending the reception park in the surface lot on Maplewood Avenue across the street from the Markin Center. The lot is not accessible from Main Street. From University Avenue, turn west on Bradley Ave. Travel 6 blocks and turn right on Maplewood (across from the Markin tennis courts).
