The Peoria Art Guild is pleased to announce the election of the following new members to its Board of Directors.
Cynthia Burcham, Controller, Hotel Pere Marquette. – Cynthia brings over 25 years of comptroller experience to the PAG Board. She is a member, and former board treasurer, of Women in Leadership of Central Illinois. She is also a member of the Steering Committee Easter Seals Wines & Polo on the Prairie and the IHLAEF Women in Lodging; as well as various other community events.
Tom Gross, artist – Tom is a local artist that creates large-scale cityscapes that are in many corporate collections. He has been a vocal supporter and organizer of artists in the Peoria area.
Elizabeth Kauffman, Director of Galleries, Exhibitions & Collections, Bradley University – Elizabeth is an artist, art historian, and arts administrator. She has a BA in Painting from Xavier University, and an MFA as well as an MA in Art History from the University of Cincinnati. Elizabeth was co-founder and board treasurer of Manifest Creative Research Gallery and Drawing Center, a not-for-profit community arts space in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Tracy Litzinger, Partner, Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC – As a partner with the law firm of Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC, Tracy focuses her practice on management-side labor and employment matters. Originally from St. Louis, Tracy has made Peoria her home for the past sixteen years.
Kathryn Macek, community volunteer – Kathryn and her husband Paul recently relocated to Peoria from Edwardsville. After years in Nursing Administration, she now devotes her time to her family and community. She volunteers at the Hult Education Center and the Symphony Guild, and she is a long time supporter and active fundraiser for the Vesterheim Norwegian American Museum. Kathryn works part time at Curves for Women.
Kathy Schaeffer, Director of Business Development, Stellar Systems, Inc. – Kathy is a board member and past president of Women in Leadership of Central Illinois, and a member of the Planning Committee for Easter Seals Wines & Polo. She is an ambassador for the Peoria Area Chamber of Commerce, and on the board of the Heart of Illinois Hospitality Association. She is a member of Women’s Council of Realtors.
