State Rep. Jehan Gordon (D-Peoria) and the Peoria City/County Health Department will host a nutritional presentation on Tuesday, March 30th at the Health Department. The presentation, entitled Resist the Urge to Splurge When Eating Out, will offer local residents the opportunity to learn how to change their eating habits when dining out.
“It is important for us to help create a happier and healthier community. March is National Nutrition Month and I wanted to help raise awareness, said Gordon. I am partnering with the Peoria County/City Health Department to give my constituents a chance to experience an informational, interactive, and free forum geared towards creating healthier eating habits.”
This free presentation will offer local residents with a chance to listen and talk with a certified nutritionist to help them learn how to improve their eating habits. The Peoria City/County Health Department is located at 2116 North Sheridan Road in Peoria.
For questions concerning the presentation, please contact Rep. Gordon’s constituent service office at (309) 681-1992.
