THEME: “Amber Waves of Grain”

The Golden Historical Society is looking for organizations, clubs and businesses to enter in the third annual Heritage Days parade. We are also looking for descendents of the early settlers of the community to be in the parade. For example: If you have ties to the Buss, Heinecke, Flesner, Albers or one of the other families who settled this area before 1900, please join in the parade. The theme for the parade is taken from the song, “America the Beautiful”, so a patriotic or agriculture entry theme is appropriate.

Entries must sign in at the registration table on the northeast corner of the Golden Good Shepherd Home grounds at 9:00 a.m. but no later than 9:30. Please bring an index card with information about the entry.
