Final Days of Campaign Underway
Friday afternoon, The Salvation Army climbed even closer to its 2010 Tree of Lights Campaign goal. With receipts processed through January 27, the total sits at $1,290,977 or about 91% of the $1,430,000 goal.
“We are so pleased with the continued outpouring of care and generosity from central Illinois,” said Major Evie Diaz, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army. “We still that last ten percent or so to go to reach our Tree of Lights Campaign goal, with a little more than $139,000 left to accomplish our goal.”
The Salvation Army will continue its direct mail approach, as well as business contacts throughout the first ten days of February to reach the $1,430,000 goal.
