Methodist Wins Marketing Awards

The Marketing Department of Methodist Medical Center has won two awards in the Aster Awards competition for healthcare marketing. Methodist received a Bronze award in the category of Newspaper Advertising-Series for a series of new physician ads. Methodist also received a Gold award in the category of Brochure Advertising for a brochure on Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery.

The Aster Awards, one of the largest national competitions of its kind, is hosted by Marketing Healthcare Today Magazine. The awards program recognizes outstanding healthcare professionals for excellence in their advertising/marketing efforts for 2010.

Entries must score at least in the top 16% to receive an award. Judging is based on creativity, layout and design, functionality, message effectiveness, production quality and overall appeal.
