State Rep. Jehan Gordon (D-Peoria) presented the Good Neighbor Business of the Month Award for November to Associated Bank for the work they do promoting The Center of Prevention of Abuse Annual Duck Race Fundraiser. Gordon presented the award to Carla Losey and Sara Fickes of Associated Bank, which was nominated by Carla Payne of The Center for Prevention of Abuse. Associated Bank also helps The Center by assisting with landscaping and cleaning at the shelter. The Center or the Prevention of Abuse provides services to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault and elder abuse. The Center also provides outreach programs in the community to help prevent violence and abuse in the community.
