CAPtions, Peoria’s longest-running TV talk show, will focus on the topic of “Your Health Concerns”on a broadcast airing Wednesday, October 28.

Topics include Breast Cancer Awareness, the Facts on H1N1 flu virus, and African-American Male Health Issues.

Guests include Gayle Young of the Susan G. Komen Center for
The Cure, Barbara Gordon of Families 2000, Shalonda Knox, a
Parish/Faith Community Nurse; Jason Marks, Emergency Preparedness
Coordinator for the Peoria City/County Health Department; and
Agbara Bryson, ICC Counselor who is coordinating an upcoming
conference on African-American Male health.

CAPtions will air on Wednesday, October 28 at 7:00 p.m. on Comcast
Cable 22 in Peoria County; and 9 pm on ESC-TV Cable 22 in
East Peoria, Creve Coeur and Washington.

CAPtions is produced by the Peoria Citizens Committee for
Economic Opportunity, Inc. Media Services Department. It is
funded in part by a grant from the Illinois Department of Commerce
and Economic Opportunity.
