CAPtions, Peoria’s longest-running TV talk show, will look at “Dist. 150 at a Crossroad”. on a broadcast airing Wednesday, November 4. The sole guest will be Ken Hinton, who will be retiring as Dist. 150 Superintendent on December 1.
Topics include Hinton’s education career; his philosophy on educating and motivating students; achievements & struggles as superintendent; his view on Charter Schools; and the hardest decision he has ever had to make.
Also included in the broadcast is footage from a 1993 CAPtions, where Hinton took viewers on a video tour of the Valeska Hinton Early Childhood Education Center.
CAPtions will air on Wednesday, November 4 at 7 pm on Comcast Cable 22 in Peoria County; and 9 pm on ESC-TV Cable 22 in East Peoria, Creve Coeur and Washington.
