PreK program accepting students
The PreKindergarten program at Immaculate Conception Convent in West Peoria is currently accepting students. The PreK program is celebrating its 70th birthday this year and was a pacesetter for other early childhood classes in the area.
To be considered, students must be at least three years of age by September 1. Traditionally, three year olds attend class Monday, Wednesday and Friday; four year olds attend Monday through Friday. Class is from 8:30 – 11:00 a.m. The first day of school is always the Tuesday after Labor Day and final day is the Friday before Memorial Day.
To find out more about the program or schedule a visit, call Immaculate Conception Convent at 309-674-6168 and ask for Sister Elaine Haertjens, OSF, director and teacher.
