March 6 – Fish Fry to Benefit Bel-Wood Nursing Home – Hosted by the Local 974 United Auto Workers Retirees. Open to public. The fund provides a memorable Christmas for every Bel-Wood resident. Tickets for this all-you-can-eat fundraiser are $7 for adults/$3 for children 12 and under.
March 7 – 4th Annual Candlelight Vigil for Whitney’s Walk For Life at 6:00 p.m. at Dingeldine Music Center, 1417 Barker on the campus of Bradley University. Survivors of suicide, community volunteers, and supporters can come together to honor life and remember their loved ones. March 8 – The Emory University Concert Choir will perform as part of the First United Methodist Church 2011 Music Concert Series at 7:00 p.m. This choir is considered to be one of the finest collegiate choirs in the country. This is a free concert though a freewill offering will be accepted.
