The Peoria Park District’s Forest Park Nature Center will hold a “Creatures of the Night” hike on Friday, October 28, at 7:00 p.m.  Summon your courage and prepare to enter the dark of the forest on a walk through trails filled with the eerie sounds from “creatures of the night”! Learn about bats, owls, and may more nocturnal animals. This friendly, guided hike will end at our Trailhead Nature Store, where refreshments and seasonal stories will top off the evening. Dress for the weather; costumes are welcome. Feel free to bring a flashlight. This presentation is open to the public, ages 12 and up. There is no fee, but donations are appreciated.
