Peoria County Administrator Selected as 2012 Leader

Peoria County Administrator Lori Curtis Luther has been selected for the 2012 Class of 40 Leaders Under Forty by Central Illinois Business Publishers (CIBP). CIBP coordinates the annual campaign to recognize youthful leaders who make a difference and show initiative throughout the community. Leaders are nominated by the community and selected by a panel of judges. Ms. Curtis Luther is much deserving of this award for she provides great leadership as the county administrator and is very capable of leading Peoria County through important matters such as balancing the budget, strategic planning, and economic development.

Lori Curtis Luther has been with Peoria County for just over a year and has truly made a positive impact on our organization and community. In addition to being named a 40 Leaders Under Forty, Lori was accepted through a competitive application process to participate in the inaugural year of the Edgar Fellows Program, an intense, four-day leadership training sponsored by the University of Illinois’ Institute of Government and Public Affairs.
