The Children’s Home is sponsoring an informational meeting for anyone interested in making a difference in the life of a child by becoming a foster parent. The meeting will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2013 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. at The Children’s Home Association of Illinois, Knoxville Campus, 2130 N. Knoxville Ave., Peoria, IL 61603

No matter their age, all children in foster care need a meaningful connection to at least one caring adult who becomes a supportive and lasting presence in their lives. Without families, or stable relationships, too many of these children and teens will end up facing life’s challenges all alone.
