The Peoria Area Association of Realtors® (PAAR) tonight announced that Tonya Burris, GRI, of Traders Realty Corp. is the 2013-2014 president of the Peoria Area Association of Realtors®. The installation of officers and directors took place during a special ceremony at the Association’s 94th Annual Installation Banquet held at the Paradice Hotel.
Burris has been a Realtor® for thirteen years, since 2000. She is currently a broker with Traders Realty Corporation, working out of their East Peoria office at Camp Street Crossing. She is active in the Peoria Area Association of REALTORS® serving on many task forces and committees including the Broker Attorney Committee, Contracts Committee, Finance and Executive Committee, Public Awareness, Grievance Committee and MLS Committees. She’s served as a member of the PAAR Board of Directors since 2007 and served as the PAAR Association Secretary/ Treasurer, and President-Elect.
In 2014, Burris will represent the PAAR at the Illinois Association of Realtors® and the National Association of Realtors meetings during her term as president.
